Housekeeping Part-Time/Full-Time

Job description

Our company provides weekly housekeeping and linen service for all of our homes. Seeking a responsible and self motivated person to provide these services on a weekly basis for our homes in Kimball. Duties include, but are not limited to laundering bed linens, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning toilets and showers, etc. Experience is preferred.

Join our team as a Housekeeper and play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests.

Duties:

- Perform commercial cleaning duties in various areas such as guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.

- Launder linens and towels to uphold cleanliness standards.

- Implement floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

- Conduct carpet cleaning as needed to maintain a fresh appearance.

- Apply housekeeping management practices to organize tasks and schedules effectively.

- Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas to promote a hygienic environment.

- Collaborate with the team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed promptly.

- Adhere to residential cleaning standards for private accommodations.

Skills:

- Prior experience in customer service to engage effectively with guests.

- Proficiency in commercial cleaning practices and techniques.

- Ability to manage floor care procedures for different surfaces.

- Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods for optimal results.

- Knowledge of hotel industry standards for housekeeping.

- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.

- Capability to sanitize areas following health guidelines.

- Effective communication skills for coordinating tasks within the team.
