Client is leading the digital transformation of energy management and automation. Their tech enables the world to use energy in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner.
Job Responsibilities
Implement production standards to establish, maintain, and enhance production equipment and processes.
Reduce downtime, improve quality, continuous improvement, and safety.
Develop LEAN methodologies: May include VMS (value stream mapping), SMED (single minute exchange of dies), 8-Wastes, Takt Time, Jidoka, PokaYoke, Kaizen, MTM (motion & time movements) LADM (line architecture design methodology), MPH (material providing & handling) and Six Sigma
Conduct time motion studies and develop standardized work instructions to support standard time coordination
6-Sigma
Determine Manufacturing process Layout Optimization
Monitor efficiency indicators, KE, OEE, NEE, IE to improve capacity of the line.
Provide Manufacturing engineering support for Smart Factory (Industry 4.0) deployment
Coordination of BOM and routings for the product lines.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
2+ years Industrial Engineering experience in an automated industrial environment
Manufacturing process layout optimization
Experience in Time-motion studies and standardized work
Hands-On experience with LEAN concepts
Pro-E/CREO/AutoCAD proficiency
