Job Title: Quality ManagerJob Purpose:What does a great Quality Manager do?The Quality Manager is required to perform day to day management of external customer defect complaints, internal quality audits performed by their direct reports, and output solution controls for Fiserv operations at their site, and their ability to communicate at multiple levels inside and outside of the organization ranging from machine operators to the site lead. They are responsible for working with the other quality departments to ensure one message is coming from the quality side as well as BCP and documentation and controls (this includes work instructions, forms, SOP, and gold standards).ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage direct reports this includes: managing time off, performance reviews, and giving day to day directionReport on quality metrics for the facility you are responsible forUsing statics to determine appropriate inspection frequencies for each department and product typeEnsure inter departmental cooperation.Promoting a culture of quality throughout all departments within their facilityEvaluate current workload of direct reports and building justification for additional headcount when neededBASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:Minimum of 3 years of experience managing direct reportsOutstanding organizational skills.Great attention to detail.Experience in a fast paced, high volume production environment and understanding of production concepts.Experienced using Microsoft OfficeExperience directing meetings with mid-level managementAbility to improvise when necessary to solve work problemsAbility to work overtime including holidays and weekends when there is a major quality error that needs a response to a customerExperience in a ISO9000 environment is a plusLean six sigma certification is a plusPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Be able, as it is necessary-to climb, stretch, crouch or kneel.Successful performance requires good vision including close vision for accurate attention to detail.Work requires incumbent to be mobile and in a standing / walking position.Uses hands to handle, finger, or feel objects and to perform computer tasksOutput Solutions at Fiserv delivers mission-critical communications to financial institutions, health and property/casualty insurance providers, billers, retailers, travel and entertainment companies and advertising agencies nationwide.
