Actalent is Seeking a Mechanical EngineerDescription:
Analysis, design and documentation of mechanical systems and piping for various materials, such as carbon steel, stainless steel and HDPE piping
Review, development and management of valve, heat exchanger, tank, pump, pressure vessel and specialty equipment specifications
CAD drawing experience is a plus, 2D and 3D packages
Basic piping design calculations for pressure, deflection and support
Process engineering and design utilizing Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)
Pump design and application knowledge
Skills:
Mechanical, Mechanical engineering, piping systems, Design, Autocad, pressure vessel
5+ years mechanical engineering experience.
Computer knowledge Microsoft Office, Excel, (AutoCAD, Inventor, CEASAR or similar analytical software).
Previous experience within an engineering group. Construction and field assignments are valuable.
