MIG WELDER$25/HourStart ASAPWeekly Pay Description:A leading manufacturer of structural components in Lincoln, NE has an immediate opening for a MIG welder. A typical day consists of utilizing blueprints and instructions to MIG mild steel structural components including columns, beams, trusses, vertical and horizontal bracing, stairs, rails, ladders, and frames. Ideal candidates most possess at least 6 months of prior welding experience. Candidates must be able to pass a 2G horizontal GMAW test. 1st and 2nd shifts are available.Pay :
$20-25/hour
Hours :
1st Shift: Monday thru Friday 6:00am to 4:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday thru Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am
Responsibilities:
Perform all welding procedures including setting machine parameters, swapping shielding gas bottles, etc.
MIG weld on steel components in various positions
Conduct visual inspections on welds
Interpret blueprints and instructions
Conduct basic maintenance on machines (replace rollers, liners, and fittings)
Qualifications :
6 months of MIG welding in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and use a tape measure
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings to perform layouts, fabricate, and weld various parts and assemblies
