Job Title: Payroll Implementation ConsultantLocation: based in Nebraska (Remote)Pay Range: $60/hourWhat's the Job?

Provide daily administrative support testing our Workday environment.

Handle day-to-day PeopleSoft production activities when required.

Create test cases and testing interfaces to various vendors and various systems.

Interact and collaborate effectively with existing Workday/KPMG implementation consultants.

What's Needed?

The ideal candidate must have extensive Canadian payroll knowledge, including tax calculations, deductions, compliance rules, and experience with Global View ADP, Workday, and SSL transaction uploads.

Extensive knowledge of CAN Payroll especially (FLSA, tax calculations, earnings, deductions, pay groups, costing allocations, running Workday payroll reports, audit alerts, approval processes, and security rules).

Multi-State/Locality taxation (all 50 states).

EIB transaction data uploads.

Audit processing experience to compare configurations and other required information.

Proficient in State and Local (Employer/Employee) Taxes, including State/Local Income Tax Withholding & Unemployment Taxes, with application across Remote/Hybrid/In-Office work settings.

Ability to review tax rate notices to determine required tax set up need in Workday.

Capable of identifying issues with Federal, State, and Local taxes by examining pay stubs.

Comprehensive understanding of complex employment tax rules, such as Convenience of Employer Rules, De-minimis and State Reciprocity Rules.

Ability to prepare basic excel files for Workday/KPMG team for automated data updates.

Microsoft Office experience is a MUST.
