Security Engineer 2 job in Omaha, NE

Akkodis is seeking a Security Engineer 2 for a client in Omaha, Nebraska to help lead design, implementation, maintenance and daily operation of critical network and security infrastructure. This Security Engineer 2 will manage vulnerability detection, patching and remediation on hardware and software. Find out more about the opportunity below!

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing IT Infrastructure support.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Security Engineer.
  • Professional security certification like CISSP, ISSP, SSCP, GIAC, etc. is highly preferred.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure and application lifecycle management.
  • Superior customer service skills are essential including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding company values are key attributes.
