AECOM seeks an experienced, proven Program Manager to lead Federal/Dept of Energy(DOE) environmental remediation projects.  The candidate may work remotely within the US but will be expected to travel to specific DOE job sites periodically for possibly extended periods of time.Our DOE clients expect us to bring the best people, ideas, technical expertise and digital solutions to our work in the environmental, transportation, buildings, water and energy market space.  Required qualifications for the DOE Program Manager include a proven track record of:Managing and leading federal performance based/fixed price remediation projectsClose successful collaboration with DOE Tier 1 contractors and other stakeholdersFamiliarity with DOE environmental programs, contaminants and organizational framework of the agencyManaging and directing professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projectsAchieving contractual performance and financial milestonesOther responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow managementLeads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practicesUtilizes existing technologies and past experience to develop technical solutions to complex problemsInterprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure complianceAnalyzes financial statements and completes budget trackingPerforms work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to internal regional and environmental managementOversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studiesPerforms complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project teamSupervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project workConducts reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvementDOE business developmentOversee and develop technical approaches and cost estimates for proposals
