Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Revenue Accounting Supervisor in the hospitality industry, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the team's revenue accounting, as well as developing and implementing procedures approved by the Controller. The Revenue Accounting Supervisor must have prior gaming industry experience, specifically over slot revenue or race & sports. The Revenue Accounting Supervisor will work closely with a team to drive processes, but also play a critical role in the day-to-day accounting functions. If you are seeking a contract role, with the possibility of converting to permanent, apply today.Responsibilities: Develop and implement approved accounting procedures Conduct monthly reviews of journal entries & audits Prepare and present financial reports and tax reports Participate in special projects as assigned Conduct account reconciliation and balance sheet account reconciliation Review, revise, and improve accounting systems and procedures when necessary Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with Accounting Software Systems, Accounting Functions, and Casino Gaming standards Manage the hiring, evaluation, training, and development of team members Ensure compliance with Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and NGCB regulations Oversee month-end close and month-end journal entries processes Handle local taxes related dutiesRequirements Minimum of 2 years experience in a Lead position is required, accounting management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
