- Experience in developing API Proxies using Google Apigee Edge Platform.
- Must be able to design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using Apigee Support the APIs through the entire lifecycle.
- Define API platform architecture with knowledge of vendors (APIGEE, CA, Mashery etc) and capabilities in API space
- Apigee platform (API product) skills and experience in maintaining & handling Apigee software components like Edge Router, Message Processor, Cassandra & Zookeeper
- Hands on development in Apigee Platform with deep implementation exposure to policies like Service Callouts, Extensions, Mediation, Security implementations using OAuth, Key based
- Hands on integration architecture experience in multi-tier, web based systems
- Experience with the design and development of the REST APIs. Experience with middleware, web services, and related standards such as REST, SOAP, Messaging, Broker, JMS, Kafka.
- Good understanding of design and development of security architecture policies with SSL, TLS, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML, Encryption, Public Private Keys, Certificate Configurations, Transport Layer Security, OWASP.
- Knowledge of JavaScript for writing APIGEE mashup APIs
- Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging monetization, request, and response modifications, etc. using APIGEE Platform.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Google Cloud – Apigee Certification is strong plus
