Description As the Systems Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of a new integration server, ensuring seamless connectivity across various systems and platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in reducing costs associated with third-party vendors and enhancing technical efficiency within ongoing projects.Job Duties:

Lead the end-to-end implementation of the integration server, encompassing ideation, development, testing, and deployment phases.

Design, develop, and deploy complex real-time systems integrations, ensuring robust performance and reliability.

Provide expert guidance on architectural design and integration development, serving as a subject matter expert.

Analyze business data requirements and produce essential architectural deliverables such as business process flows, mapping documents, and data flow diagrams.

Conduct software performance tests, identify areas for improvement, and debug integration-related issues.

Act as a liaison between IT application owners and infrastructure development teams to support business requirements effectively.

Assist in preparing and refining software requirements and specifications in collaboration with stakeholders.

Operate within an agile development methodology, ensuring timely delivery and responsiveness to change requests.

Prioritize and manage multiple open issues while adhering to best practices for change control.

Document bugs and technical issues for engineering resolution, ensuring comprehensive tracking and resolution.

Provide technical support for new projects, offering insights into integration requirements and potential challenges.

Escalate common issues identified by service partners to facilitate timely resolution and continuous improvement.

Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Enterprise Applications Director and Manager.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of demonstrable experience in developing and leading integrations for mid-size companies.

Proficiency in ETL processes and real-time integrations using at least one ESB platform such as Talend, Mulesoft, Boomi, IBM, or WSO2.

Strong knowledge of API integrations and SOAP services.

Familiarity with front-end and back-end programming languages such as SQL, Java, HTML, .NET, PLSQL, and scripting languages.

Experience working in Agile environments, delivering solutions iteratively and collaboratively.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment, demonstrating self-motivation and proactive problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
