We handle high-volume production and are expanding our team. We are looking for a Clothing Presser / Machine Operator to help maintain our high standards for garment care.

Job Description

As a Clothing Presser / Machine Operator, you will ensure garments are pressed to perfection and delivered to customers in pristine condition. You'll work with professional equipment and be responsible for handling various fabrics with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate pressing machines to press garments according to company standards.

- Inspect garments for stains, damage, and overall quality before pressing.

- Follow customer-specific instructions (e.g., crease preferences, special requests).

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Ensure garments are wrinkle-free and meet quality standards.

- Work with the production team to meet daily goals.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of pressing equipment.

- Assist in sorting and organizing garments for further processing.

- Show a willingness to learn other roles within the department.

Required Qualifications

- Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry production (preferred, but not required).

- Ability to operate industrial pressing machines or willingness to learn.

- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality garment care.

- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.

- Must be able to read and speak English.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a dry cleaning or laundry facility.

- Knowledge of various fabrics and pressing techniques.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
