We are looking for a Dry Cleaning Production Utility Associate — a hands-on, cross-trained team member who can step into various roles as needed to keep our operation running smoothly.

Job Description

As a Production Utility Associate, you’ll be trained in multiple areas of our plant, from pressing and machine operation to household/drapery care. You’ll help cover positions when team members are out, learn the afternoon household cleaning process, and gain skills in pressing household items and draperies. This role is perfect for someone who likes variety, is quick to learn, and enjoys working in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Cover different production roles as needed (pressing, spotting, finishing, cleaning, sorting).

- Learn and perform afternoon household cleaning operations.

- Press household items, draperies, and specialty pieces to high-quality standards.

- Operate pressing machines and other equipment according to company standards.

- Inspect items for stains, damage, and quality before and after processing.

- Follow customer-specific instructions (e.g., creases, special care).

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Work with the production team to meet daily and weekly goals.

- Perform light equipment maintenance and promptly report issues.

- Adhere to all safety and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability.

- Ability to quickly learn multiple roles within production.

- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

- Must be able to read and speak English.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or garment production.

- Knowledge of different fabrics and pressing techniques.

- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a high-volume setting.
