Description We're on the hunt for a bookkeeper with construction industry experience for a contract to permanent position with a well-known construction company in Las Vegas. This is an in-office role located in central Las Vegas. As a bookkeeper, your daily responsibilities will include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll processing tasks. We're looking for someone confident and experienced enough to handle bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and perform varied functions such as job costing. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our client's financial operations, supporting the company's overall financial health and growth. Additional responsibilities of a bookkeeper will include handling variance reporting and managing numerous other tasks to keep our client's business running smoothly and efficiently. The right person for this role will have outstanding experience in AP, AR, and payroll processing, along with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.Responsibilities: Handling Accounts Payable and Receivable efficiently Handling bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts effectively and accurately Facilitating the payment process, primarily utilizing tools like Zelle/ACH Resolving vendor-related issues promptly and efficiently Engaging in variance reporting to manage overhead costs Producing invoices, labor releases, and lien releases as part of Accounts Receivable tasks Overseeing contract management and ensuring all agreements are adhered to Performing job costing against an estimated budget for financial accuracy Ensuring all data entry and bookkeeping tasks are completed accurately and timely.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role Proficient in account reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Skilled in managing both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Experience in performing bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies Demonstrable knowledge in general bookkeeping practices Ability to perform data entry tasks with high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets Experience in month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is up to date Skilled in payroll management, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro for managing financial data Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus Knowledge of Procore construction management software is a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
