Position: Business Analyst Duration: 1 year Location: Carson City, NV (They need to be in the office two days a week and working remotely three days per week) Experience and Skills Required- Minimum 8 years in Business Process Analysis, Requirement Gathering, writing Request for Information and Proposal (RFI/RFP), Project Management, client product/service delivery, with at least 3 years managing large-scale and complex enterprise projects. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and deliver projects on time, within scope and within budget Excellent written and verbal skills Demonstrated can-do attitude Ability to resolve problems with minimal management assistance; escalates appropriately Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Moves quickly to address unexpected problems or opportunities. PMP, AGILE Scrum Master, Product Owner or similar certifications Experience and Skills Preferred- Prior consulting experience preferred Experience implementing similar projects preferred Searching for an Agile Project Manager with experience as a Scrum Master and business analyst. This unique position will work with the Project Management Office and lead stakeholders across multiple department business units to gather requirements, solicit vendors and manage the project through deliver, meeting customer goals and keeping the project on time, and within scope and budget. The Agile Scrum Master is accountable for establishing Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide, by helping everyone understand Scrum theory and practice, both within the Scrum Team and the organization. The position is accountable for the Scrum Team's effectiveness. This is accomplished by enabling the Scrum Team to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework. The Agile Scrum Master serves the Scrum Team in several ways, including:
- Coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality; and
- Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done; and
- Causing the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team's progress; and,
- Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
- Helping find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management; and
- Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog Items; and
- Helping establish empirical product planning for a complex environment; and
- Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed.
- Leading, training, and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption; and
- Planning and advising Scrum implementations within the organization; and
- Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work; and
- Removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams.
