Marker Trax is recruiting for Business Data Analyst. The primary job scope for this role is to support and contribute to the business analytics reporting to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for system performance and future initiatives. Uses statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making. Mines, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence and client information. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Measure the accuracy and efficiency of data and data reporting.Ensure data and analysis are of high quality and accuracy and work with a variety of qualitative and quantitative data.Analyze data and use this analysis to create compelling evidence-based and actionable data stories to address anomalies.Identify problems within the financial system via data querying.Support the automation of aspects of the data as appropriate and work with the other departments to prioritize.Collaborate with Business Intelligence analysts in other parts of the organization.Develop and maintain all data reporting.Develop and run ad Hoc reports as requested.We are looking for someone to have a bachelor’s degree in financial statistics, data analytics, or a quantitative field of study. Being a superuser of Power BI is essential. Knowing and using SQL is a plus.
