CRI Advantage is looking for a Business Process Analyst to work on a 2-year project helping with the implementation of a cloud-based system in an Agile environment at the State of Nevada in Carson City, NV. Work may be performed remotely, on site, or in a hybrid arrangement. Type of interview would be Webex.Project OverviewThe Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is undertaking a multi-year comprehensive transformation of its systems, environment, and business structure. DMV is emphasizing a complete overhaul of service offerings that focus on a new way of business. Centered around an online strategy wherever possible, this customer-focused model will be the “North Star” for all efforts. This position is needed to support the transformation and will work in one or more key initiatives under the overall program. The key initiatives are: 1) Program Organization; 2) Compliance & Enforcement Services; 3) Data Migration; 4) Financial Services; 5) Licensing & Credentials; 6) Titling & Registration. Acquisition of the new solution was completed in 2021 with a multi-year implementation through June 30, 2026. The initial focus of this position is 4) Financial Services.Scope of WorkParticipate as a scrum team member in an Agile implementation of a cloud-based solution.Document changes and follow protocols established by Nevada DMV.Follow guidelines established by Nevada DMV.Must be able to analyze business processes and gather business rules without documentation.Must be able to elicit and document business and functional requirements, test scripts, and training requirements.Must be able to define and implement a solution to a given problem that requires an individually tailored response for end-user requirements.Facilitate and participate in business requirements and process review sessions for the assigned program area or sprint.Work with different users/user groups to gather and document business rules.Document the changes needed.Coordinate with DMV stakeholders and vendors in the assigned program area(s).Test systems functionality by preparing test plans and participating in quality assurance.Analyze transition from manual testing to partially automated testing during the transformation effort.Communicate with testers and MVIT through the testing and transformation processes.Follow up with testing to make sure changes are working well and do not have any negative impact on performance.Provide status reports as required by DMV personnel.Carry out special project tasks within assigned program area(s). DeliverablesProvide business and functional requirements for assigned program area improvements prior to each vendor-led sprint.Approve test scripts prior to promoting changes based on vendor-led build cycles after each successful sprint.Provide training requirements for end-users.Weekly status reports to include, but not be limited to:Problems that were encountered and proposed/actual resolutionsIssues that need to be addressedAccomplishments during the periodActivities to be accomplished during the next reporting periodExperience and Skills RequiredExperience developing business requirements with emphasis on Agile Methods (Epics, Features, User Stories) using Atlassian Tools (Jira / Confluence)Creation and maintenance of business and functional requirements, process maps, and other project documentationExperience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations in support of Organizational Change ManagementExperience facilitating workshops and focus groupsExcellent analytical and communication skills required to effectively work in the field of applications development and maintenanceExcellent at understanding integration technologies and domains and workflowBachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, or any other equivalent degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.Experience and Skills PreferredCAP or PMI-PBA CertificationLean Six Sigma Experience (Green Belt, Yellow Belt, Black Belt) with understanding of DMAIC methodologiesHigh level of competence with MS Office, Jira and Confluence, Lucidchart, and SmartsheetExperience in large-scale technology transformation projects CRI Advantage, Inc. is an Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity employer (AA/EEO)/VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
