I am currently hiring a Quality/Test Assurance Engineer for a healthcare equipment manufacturer in Cary, NC.

Quality/Test Assurance Engineer Pay Range: $50.00- $58.00 hr. Must be available to work onsite in Cary NCContract 1 year (strong potential for extension/conversion to direct)

Job Description: The R&D - Reporting and Analytics team builds reports that help improve patient and caregiver experience. Sift through large volumes of data to provide meaningful, easy to process reports to the end user to aid their decision making.

The Quality/Test Assurance Engineer would be involved in a variety of projects and effectively be the SME of these applications. Required to understand the flow of the data pipelines, interact with QEs from upstream applications to gain knowledge, generate relevant test data, make sure the data matches between the source and destination, and test the reports. Required to write test plans, test cases and other relevant documentation.

Skills Needed:Experience testing Reporting applicationsExperience using BI tools such as Tableau/Power BI/OBIEE etcExperience with ETL testing/ BI reports testing/database testingExperience writing SQL queriesStrong understanding of databases (tables, views etc) and data warehousing concepts.Ability to understand and create/mine test data.Ability to understand requirements and identify test cases.Strong understanding of cloud technologies and terminologies (Azure/AWS)Good communication and documentation skills with the ability to concisely convey information to a variety of audiences.Ability and willingness to quickly learn complex applications and adapt to new technologies and projects.Ability to work in a cross functional team and collaborate as required.Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail and concern for data accuracy.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologiesKnowledge of programming language(s) such as Python.Experience with automation testing is a plusExperience with performance/load testing is a plusExperience working with Healthcare clients is a plus
