Certified Welder

Do you take pride in clean welds, strong craftsmanship, and doing the job right the first time? Stodtmeister Iron in Sparks, NV is looking for a Certified Welder to join our custom fabrication team. This role is ideal for a dependable, skilled welder who values quality work, teamwork, and long term growth.

What You’ll Do:

Perform MIG welding on steel components for custom projects

Read and interpret shop drawings and weld symbols

Fit, tack, and weld parts to specification

Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance

Work closely with fabricators and shop leadership to meet project timelines

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Follow all safety standards and company procedures

What We’re Looking For:

Current welding certification (or ability to certify upon hire)

Proven MIG welding experience on steel

Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Dependable, punctual, and team oriented

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environment

OSHA 10 and forklift certification a plus (can be obtained on the job)

Pay & Benefits:

$24–$30 per hour, depending on experience and certifications

Full time, permanent position
