Client: Credit One bank Primary Job Responsibilities The Cloud Security Engineer supports the AVP of Security Operations in a variety of information technology security functions within the Information Technology Department. • Responsible for tracking and ensuring remediation of technical items identified from vulnerability management program, audits, penetration testing, etc.• Perform vulnerability assessments using Prisma Cloud and Tenable• Perform static and dynamic code analysis• Perform monitoring using CloudTrail for governance, compliance, and risk auditing• Perform reviews of firewall rule and security group configurations to ensure best practices are being followed• Experience working with the following types of security systems; SIEM, IDS/IPS, Next Generation Firewalls, DLP, FIM, SAST, database security, etc.• Experience securing the following technologies in AWS: EC2, S3, Kubernetes, Lambda, ROSA, KMS, Load Balancers (ELB, ALB, NLB), Route 53, SSO• Experience working with secure coding standards and tools• Assist the Architecture Review Board with secure cloud infrastructure design• Research, evaluate and drive next-generation security technologies and concepts to keep security ahead of the curve.• Collaborate within IT and other teams to address identified gaps in areas where there are no appropriate or insufficient information security controls or solutions.• Educate, train, and work collaboratively across the development teams on building secure platforms and implementing security best practices. Job Requirements • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.• Must possess a strong team work ethic, with the ability to work with personnel at all levels in all departments.• Familiar with audit and compliance functions.• Possess skills in technical writing.• Highly organized work habits.• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.• Good knowledge of cloud computing terminology.Physical Requirements Education Physical requirements include:• Sitting for extended periods of time• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse• Physically able to participate and lead training sessions, presentations and/or meetings.• Reasoning and analyzing complex information• Regularly required to talk and hear• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or 5 years of relevant work history. CISSP, Security+, AWS Solutions Architect (Associate), AWS Certified Security (Specialty)
