Overview:

We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the installation of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the Commercial HVAC area. Entry level Project Managers with HVAC field experience encouraged to apply. Candidates with Revit experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate projects from inception to final walk-through, ensuring a complete and correct HVAC system install.

- Prepare and manage project schedules and costs to meet budgets and timelines.

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Communicate with General Contractors, Subcontractors and 3rd Tier Subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.

- Collaborate with project team to develop and implement plans, specifications, contract scopes, and punch lists.

- Oversee construction quality control, ensuring that all construction work meets or exceeds industry standards.

- Prepare Change Orders and RFI’s to address scope changes or deficiencies.

- Review plans, quotes, and budget to buy out projects and select Subcontractors.

- Coordinate with project coordinators to ensure timely completion of administrative tasks, such as change orders, RFIs, billings, and submittals.

- Read and understand drawings, specs, proposals, and contract scopes to identify issues or gaps in scope.

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge and understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems

- Ability to read, interpret, and utilize schematics related to HVAC and refrigeration systems

- Knowledge of state and local codes

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Ability to lead a team and create strategy and goals for team productivity and quality of work

- Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills

- Ability to work safely with hand/power tools, scissor/power lifts, ladders and be comfortable with heights.

- Must be able to multitask and maintain a positive attitude while troubleshooting in stressful situations

- Basic computer and MS Office knowledge.

- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, Procore, and BuildOps a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 a year

Expected hours: 40 per week
