Position Overview:

As a Construction 2 within our family, you are expected to uphold our company's core values and beliefs. Your duties will include honing skill sets within the trades involved at a journeyman level, and focus on continual growth and development. We do a variety of jobs and multiple skill sets will be learned. Attention to detail and following processes learned from your teammates will ensure a growing position. Under the direction of your Lead and teammates, you will develop the skills to move to Construction 1. Growing relationships and teamwork within the Construction Department and between all other Elements Departments is the key to success in this role.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record

Must have own tools

Team player who is able to communicate and work well with others

Uncompromising attention to detail

Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions

Ability to occasionally work in a high stress - fast-paced environment

Must consider safety and high courtesy priorities

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Journeyman Level experience with Concrete

Journeyman Level experience with Carpentry

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

With minimal supervision, perform the daily duties of the Const Dept

Apply knowledge of processes to create efficiencies

Assist with mentoring Const 1 and Laborer positions

Practice and enforce job site safety and awareness

Assist with take-offs, planning, and estimates

Responsible for clean and organized job site

Communicate about what you are unsure of and learn from the direction

Motivate yourself to learn and progress
