We're looking for a contractor to handle customer service for OutdoorIndustryJobs.com on a contract / part-time basis. The job is remote, but we are looking for someone local to Reno / Tahoe so we can have a meeting here and there. MUST live in Nevada as we don't care to interact with the California employment bureaucracy.

The job is quite flexible and straightforward:

- Answer customer emails on a daily basis. We do not care when you do it - but you have to check every day Monday - Friday or tell us you aren't available. Most of the issues are straightforward but it will take time to learn the basics. I will guide you through the early stages.

- Call customers if necessary to help them with what they need (we do not list a phone number, so this would only be after receiving an email.).

Once you have mastered this task, we might expand your responsibilities:

- Auditing / accepting payments

- Fixing formatting on job posts

- Removing spam employer accounts

To start, hours are capped at 5 hours per week. That should be more than enough time to handle everything. If you do well at email support and we expand your responsibilities, the cap could move to 10 hours a week. If you do an awesome job and business is going well, you'll be first on our list for a full-time hire.

We need someone reliable that can commit to doing this for at least a year. It would be good for someone working part-time, freelancers, or students.
