Position Summary: Work as a leader in an agile team environment with other engineers to develop, code and test data integration pipelines, analytical processes and business intelligence applications as described in product backlog.Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting clients “Beyond the Best” Company-wide culture and demonstrating clients Championship Service Standards at all times.
  • Design and develop data integration pipelines, analytical processes and business intelligence applications. Using Unix shell scripting, Python, Scala, SQL, Statistical packages or platforms (such as R, Knime, SAS or Machine Learning), data integration platforms (such as Informatica, InfoSphere or Ab Initio), database platforms (such as MongoDB, Teradata, SQL Server or Cassandra) and Business Intelligence platforms (such as Cognos, Micro Strategy or Tableau) and/or other programming languages, standards and platforms.
  • Evangelize design choices to technical standards to other Engineers to identify best practice operating procedures and clarify design and implementation objectives.
  • Address and resolve data quality issues, such as integrity, accuracy, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
  • Define, understand and enforce Company, department and guild standards. Actively participate in discipline guilds that guide the technical strategies of the company and regularly lead guild discussions and activities.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of development experience in an enterprise environment with demonstrable proficiency in tools and technologies similar to those in common use in clients software development preferred.
  • Consistently demonstrates extremely high levels of technical knowledge, ingenuity and creativity. Develops and applies advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories and concepts. Broad knowledge about the design and operation of systems outside of specialty.
  • Demonstrable design expertise of data integration patterns, analytical techniques, data modeling concepts, MPP databases and business intelligence frameworks such as OLAP, ROLAP, MOLAP and HOLAP.
  • An understanding of agile Scrum principles and practices. Certification as an in agile Scrum Team Member preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Stakeholders, Team Members and Leadership in both written and verbal form.
  • Experience in providing leadership in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 8. Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, related field or equivalent experience
