The Systems Manager I, is primarily focused on ensuring operational performance and maintaining a healthy state of system applications. Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducts requirements gathering, and defines scope and objectives. Provides recommendations for solution or improvements to system processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology. Guides and leads continuous improvement by developing and maintaining data, integrations, and components, including but not limited to; application to application integrations, services, internal and external API to promote effective business process and provide an industry competitive advantage. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by customers and stakeholders. Problems faced are difficult to complex. (This position is remote)

Responsibilities:
  • Manages overall direction for end-to-end implementation of planned and ad-hoc systems and application changes. Plans, maintains, and implements applications and systems based off departmental / organizational business needs and objectives to include monitoring, supports complex escalations, and troubleshooting of incidents related to assigned systems and applications.
  • Participates and collaborates with key stakeholders on technical and project related artifacts for deployments and enhancements to assigned applications. Identifies, evaluates, and develops automation action plans to streamline routine tasks within the area of assigned applications. Oversees development of project timelines and identifies key decision dates and completion dates.
  • Documents and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) for systems/application integrations. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by the team, clients, and stakeholders. Demonstrates leadership in making improvements to current processes, policies, systems, or products to enhance performance of job area.
  • Manages vendor relationships to maximize value to the business during incidents, enhancements, or maintenance of the application. Supports procurement processes related to services and/or products necessary for the organization.
  • Ensures system compliance, security, and licensing is proactively maintained, supported, and upheld.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, and/or related preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in business application software development, including integrations between systems and application support.
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of Logic Apps, APIs, Web Services, SOA, ESB, ETL concepts and tools.
  • Advanced experience with supporting or developing integrations; ETL, ESB, API.
  • Advanced experience with Database management, creation, sizing, and other specifications.
  • Advanced experience in software development methodologies including UML, Agile, Waterfall.
  • Advanced experience with DevOps Deployments.
  • Advanced experience with Web and Mobile systems and support.
  • Advanced experience in system analysis, engineering, and infrastructure.

For positions that are permitted or required to work remotely, employees may conduct work only within the United States and only in states where the Company is already conducting business, unless for brief periods, consistent with Company policy.

For employees in Colorado only, the anticipated range is $92,075 to $131,670. Actual starting base salary will depend on geographical location, skills, and relevant experience.

The Company also may provide benefits with this position including but not limited to: medical, dental, and vision insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts (FSUs) and/or Health Savings Accounts (HSAs); Dependent Savings Accounts; 401(k) plan with employer matching; employee stock purchase plan; and potential for bonuses. The above wage range is the Company's current good faith expectation for this position. The actual amount paid and/or offered may be less or more than this range and will be based on factors including geographic location, education, training, or experience related to the work, seniority, merit, quantity and or quality of the work.
