You will inspire faculty, champion student success, drive academic excellence, and ensure graduates are prepared to meet the evolving needs of healthcare.As a collaborative and transformational leader, you will build and develop a high-performing academic team while fostering a culture grounded in care, accountability, innovation, and student-centered outcomes.WHAT YOU'LL DODrive Academic ExcellenceLead the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the BSN curriculum.Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with university standards, program outcomes, accreditation requirements, and regulatory expectations.Execute academic strategies that support exceptional student outcomes, including NCLEX success, retention, persistence, graduation, and student satisfaction.Leverage data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Lead and Develop FacultyBuild, mentor, coach, and evaluate a high-performing team of faculty and academic leaders.Oversee faculty recruitment, onboarding, development, scheduling, performance management, and retention.Foster a culture of teaching excellence, innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.Partner with academic leaders to identify development opportunities that enhance faculty effectiveness and student learning.Champion Student SuccessCreate an academic environment where students thrive academically, professionally, and personally.Promote engagement strategies that improve persistence, satisfaction, and graduation outcomes.Oversee key academic decisions related to student admission, progression, and graduation.Ensure students receive a consistently exceptional educational experience aligned with Chamberlain CareĀ® principles.Ensure Compliance & Accreditation ExcellenceMaintain full program compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and state board requirements.Partner with Accreditation and Professional Regulation teams to proactively manage program quality and compliance.Serve as a key liaison with state boards of nursing, accrediting agencies, and regulatory bodies.Lead program reviews, audits, reporting activities, and accreditation initiatives.Influence Strategy & GrowthCollaborate with university leadership, national academic teams, and campus partners to execute academic priorities.Manage academic operations, faculty workload models, budgets, and instructional resources.Lead program expansion efforts and new academic initiatives that address evolving healthcare workforce needs.Build strong relationships with healthcare partners, clinical agencies, professional organizations, and industry stakeholders.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEAs Dean, Academic Affairs, your impact will be measurable and meaningful:Students achieve strong academic outcomes, including NCLEX pass rates that meet or exceed national BSN averages.Student engagement and satisfaction remain strong, as reflected in NPS and other key metrics.Enrollment, persistence, and graduation goals are achieved or exceeded.Faculty and academic teams are highly engaged, developed, and retained.Academic quality, regulatory compliance, and accreditation standards are consistently maintained.New initiatives and program growth opportunities are successfully implemented.
