Essel is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in a variety of vehicles and equipment. A strong understanding of diesel technology, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.

Diesel Mechanic

Full Time

7am - 4pm

$32 - 38/ hour Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines as well as other mechanical components.

-Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, ignition systems, transmissions, and electrical components.

-Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and general vehicle overhaul.

-Maintain and update service records for vehicles and equipment.

-Replace or repair defective parts and components, ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a diesel mechanic program or certification is preferred.

At least 2-3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.

Proficient in the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and their components.

Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
