The

Director, IT Enterprise Architecture provides leadership in the design development, framework, and implementation of software systems to align with the organizations IT infrastructure with business process/data to improve the efficiency and productivity of business operations. Responsible for all the architecture domains including business applications, data, technology, software development and security architecture and is the primary integration point between technology architecture and other parts of the enterprise. Oversees and performs hands-on coding, code reviews, application architecture analysis and technical support. Collaborates with other business stakeholders to analyze the feasibility of solutions, manage priorities, and demands, and provide leadership with status of on-going projects. Participates in development of and responsible for policy and strategy implementation for short-term to mid-term results. Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures. Assesses impact of decisions and strategies on the broader organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Builds short-term to mid-term strategic enterprise architecture programs and plans for all business and IT systems. Maintains a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and technology assets. Partners with Senior IT staff and business leaders to act as an advisor to IT strategic planning efforts.
  • Provides current best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional or technical design documents. Develops and maintains policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent technology framework is applied across the company.
  • Communicates complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences both with and without deep technical skills.
  • Facilitates and leads intake discussions with line of business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision and solutions in the form of software products, customizations, and integrations to meet those needs.
  • Provides leadership and technical guidance to the project teams throughout the implementation to ensure accurate delivery of project plans. Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Promotes the use of a shared infrastructure and business application roadmaps to reduce costs and improve information flows. Evaluates the total cost of ownership and return on investment of various architecture alternatives. Maintains knowledge of third-party software vendors to leverage complementary offerings and effectively compare solutions.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management and/or related preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of cumulative experience in information technology, data management, application or solution architecture in a large complex data ecosystem, domain expertise with complex high-tech environments. Minimum 5 years of experience with .NET/C#/React/ or Angular.
  • Minimum 5 years managerial / leadership experience with direct reports. Requires broad management knowledge to lead managers and/or individual contributors within one or more departments.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement applications (CRM) products and processes along with other MS Dynamics modules.
  • Advanced working knowledge of ETL (SSIS, Scribe, etc.).
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft MVC stack (ASP.NET MVC / Entity Framework).
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Dynamics CRM, Customer Engagement, USD, Interactive Service Hub, Field Service and Portals.
  • Strong understanding of when to use of native features and when it is appropriate to use custom development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and managing deliverables.

For positions that are permitted or required to work remotely, employees may conduct work only within the United States and only in states where the Company is already conducting business, unless for brief periods, consistent with Company policy.

In the states of Colorado, California and Washington, the anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $133,275 to $190,575. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.
  • Position is also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
Employees also have the opportunity to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance; flexible spending accounts and/or health savings accounts; dependent savings accounts; 401(k) with company matching contributions; employee stock purchase plan; and, a tuition reimbursement program. The Company provides 9 paid holidays per year and, upon hire, new employees will accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of 0.0577 hours of PTO per hour worked, up to a maximum of 120 hours per year.
