The

Director, Production Support is responsible for the technical leadership of the team supporting the relevant critical business applications. Responsibilities include driving production support activities for assigned applications within a designated support group. A support group will consist of multiple applications supporting multiple business lines. Function as the key escalation point for declared Incidents requiring technical expertise and or subject matter expertise of the applications to ensure timely restoration of services. Work closely with the Level 3 support teams to ensure timely escalation of incidents. Orchestrate maintenance tiers and windows, and establish application runbooks, and deployment implementation run books.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Systems Administration, Applications, Data, and Infrastructure teams to manage application support service level agreements and produce metrics in support of results and analyzes results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and coordinate efforts for application maintenance windows for standard deployments and planned downtime.
  • Manage and coordinate troubleshooting efforts to resolve application outage in a timely manner,
  • communicate status of research to leadership and ensure documentation is up to date,
  • manage the Postmortem discussions and write ups surrounding Critical and High Events.
  • Responsible for ensuring team resources adhere to the Incident Management process to ensure a timely triage, handling, resolution and restoring of services, Lead discussions with various system areas on defining and implementing proper system health and performance reviews per assigned applications.
  • In accordance with applicable policies/procedures and Federal/State laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities: Interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology and/or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Systems Management, Production Support, IT Support Management, Systems Engineering and/or related.
  • Minimum 5 years managerial / leadership experience with direct reports.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in software development methodologies including UML, Agile, Waterfall.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, analysis, and organization skills.
  • Advanced business/application analysis skills.

For positions that are permitted or required to work remotely, employees may conduct work only within the United States and only in states where the Company is already conducting business, unless for brief periods, consistent with Company policy.

For employees in Colorado only, the anticipated range is $117,125 to $167,475. Actual starting base salary will depend on geographical location, skills, and relevant experience.

The Company also may provide benefits with this position including but not limited to: medical, dental, and vision insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts (FSUs) and/or Health Savings Accounts (HSAs); Dependent Savings Accounts; 401(k) plan with employer matching; employee stock purchase plan; and potential for bonuses. The above wage range is the Company's current good faith expectation for this position. The actual amount paid and/or offered may be less or more than this range and will be based on factors including geographic location, education, training, or experience related to the work, seniority, merit, quantity and or quality of the work.
