EVENINGS DINNER Shift Elderly Senior Care/Companion Caregiver PT

Elderly Care DINNER SHIFT for 84 Year Old SUNDAY THRU FRIDAY is available 5PM to 7PM? The Saturday dinner shift is filled at this time. If you would like to work 2-3 dinner shifts that is plenty.

Would like you to have experience in working with the elderly and have references to verify. You must be patient and compassionate, calm and gentle. Honesty is crucial. For the right person this could be an entry into the elderly care field.

Primary duty would be making a simple dinner or possibly getting a to go order and having a meal with an 84 year old. Your meal is included. Cleaning up the mess and a bit of companionship would round up the evening. Before leaving find a good movie on the TV, those remotes are hard to use for the elderly. Hearing has deteriorated some so clear speech and talking a bit louder/slower than normal is sometimes needed, help getting hearing aids on when needed.

Female applicants only. Home is very clean, uncluttered and newly remodeled in South Reno near Huffaker Park. I live but 10 minutes away, if that, so I will be popping in. There is one somewhat non-social cat living in the home.
