Fabrication Expert

USA Measurements is the leading expert in producing quality weighing and measuring equipment. Our Company specializes in scale equipment such as floor scales, truck scales, axle scales, balances, food processing scales, and much more. We are a family-based business with 10+ employees located in Las Vegas, NV, California, and Maryland. We are looking for a full-time employee in Las Vegas to help run day-to-day warehouse operations, and Manufacturing operations… fulfill shipping orders, and help setting up manufacturing operations. This position reports directly to the CEO. We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and sharp employee to be part of our team. Here is a list of expected daily tasks: 1. Making sure the warehouse is organized and cleaned at all times 2. Ensuring the warehouse is up to code with OSHA regulations 3. making sure packing orders for shipping is done properly 4. Get Trucks Loaded and unloaded from delivery trucks to receive stock and fill orders for transport. 5. Receives stock to ensure quantity and quality are correct. 6. Setting up and calibrating scales for customers’ orders Skills / Experience that is required and most importantly be able to have the skills to run a manufacturing product from raw material to finished product. We have an expert with 30+ years in manufacturing scales to assist our new Fabricator so you will get some direction to make a smooth transition to a new product you have not done before. Need to have all manufacturing department skills including managerial skills and skills on each piece of machinery so that you can jump in where needed if an employee is out for the day. You will get direction and we will hold you accountable for training new personnel and running a CNC machine, Brake Machine, drill press, etc, reading blueprints, and having good welding skills and assembly: 1. Previous experience operating a forklift 2. Unloading containers 3. Packing products for shipping 4. Counting inventory 5. Problem solving skills 6. Resourceful (as to not require significant direction or management direction and accountability) Skills / Experiences that are not required but a plus: 1. Prior warehouse experience 2 years required. Working with scales or weighing products would be great but not necessary 3. Scale Calibration Services nice to have but we can train you. 4. Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs 5. logistics experience. 6. Inventory management software 7. Fulfilling warehouse orders 8. Providing technical support for scale products Our company ideally wants an employee that will take charge and meet the tasks, get jobs done quickly, and be very organized. Have past experience working with small companies is a plus and knowing how to stay productive and be able to take raw material and turn it into scales. when things slow down. Pay is $20-35 hour depending on your experience. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance. Paid time off for vacations / sick leave. Bonus and incentive pay based on performance.
