Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a stud framer, with demonstrated proficiency as a journeyman.

Knowledge: Blueprint reading, building codes, and safety regulations.

Skills:

Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools associated with stud framing.

Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate measurements and angles accurately.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

OSHA safety certification (e.g., OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis.

Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and work at heights.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Good physical stamina and endurance.

Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily performed on construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions, noise, dust, and potential hazards.
