Description Robert Half is assisting a thriving small business with a unique project. We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to work closely with the Office Manager and business owner and several projects. As they embark on implementing a new accounting system, the Full charge bookkeeper will assist with the data migration, data entry, creating a chart of accounts and clean up / clsoe out 2023 books. Full Charge Bookkeepers that are detail-oriented and proactive must apply today.The Full Charge Bookkeepers duties will consist of:Accounting System Implementation:

Enter all data into the new accounting system, ensuring seamless integration of all relevant data.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and customize the system accordingly.

Data Integration:

Consolidate and integrate data, including part numbers, into the new accounting system.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of data migration from Excel to the new system.

Chart of Accounts Creation:

Develop and implement a comprehensive chart of accounts tailored to the needs of the business.

Collaborate with management to ensure alignment with reporting and decision-making requirements.

Manual Closing of 2023:

Take charge of manually completing the financial records for the year 2023, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Perform necessary reconciliations and adjustments to close out the financial year successfully.

Excel is required as the new accounting system is not yet implemented.

Full Charge Bookkeeping:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the new accounting system.

Financial Reporting:

Generate financial reports and statements for management, providing insights into the company's financial health.

Assist in preparing financial forecasts and budgets.

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, ideally in a small business environment.

Previous experience in implementing accounting systems is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of part numbers and their integration into accounting systems.

Proficiency in manual bookkeeping and year-end closing processes.

Solid knowledge of creating and customizing a chart of accounts.

Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

QuickBooks experience is required.
