Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description Robert Half is currently seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a small business client operating with QuickBooks Online. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company and will report directly to the Operations Director and President / CEO. The ideal Bookkeeper must have at least 4 years of experience, able to hit he ground running with limited direction, and had prior involvement with projects surrounding documentation and developing SOPs. Duties and Responsibilities:As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, your primary roles will include but not be limited to:

Cleaning up and maintaining financial books to ensure accuracy and consistency in all transactions.

Ensuring Accounts Payable (AP) invoices are correctly entered, processed and tracked within the system.

Generating accurate billing statements on a regular basis.

Ensuring all Accounts Receivable (AR) postings are accurate and updated promptly.

Overseeing and conducting end-of-month procedures, including closing processes and reporting.

Performing regular bank and credit card reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies promptly.

Assisting with payroll functions, ensuring all employee records are kept up to date and all payments are made accurately and on time.

Maintaining accurate financial reports and providing these reports to senior management as required.

The Full Charge Bookkeeper role should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information confidentially. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online is preferred.
