Hair Stylist/ Booth Renter

I would love to welcome you as the newest stylist to Emerald Grove Salon, the coziest boutique log cabin salon in all of Lake Tahoe! We have 4 stations total, and currently seeking 1-2 full or part time renters Ideally, we are looking for a stylist who already has a local clientele, or someone who is confident that they can grow one, but of course, we do provide all stylists with the opportunity to gain clients directly through the salon. We have had great success in getting a consistent flow of new clients through our yelp page, website, google business page, and online booking system.

We are a friendly and close knit team and want to find someone who fits with our chill but welcoming vibe. We're looking for a renter who wants to work independently, while being part of a team that watches out for each other and enjoys each other's company. We prefer to hire stylists with at least a few years of experience, since we do not provide training. Being skilled, reliable, and courteous are absolutes.

Seeking 2 full or part time renters, if you and a co-worker friend are looking to relocate together, this could be your place! Full time rent gets you 24/7 access to work any hours you'd like, for $700 a month. Part Time gets you 3 set days a week at $475 a month. Rental terms will be month to month.

Responsibilities, skills, and requirements:

- Must have a valid CA Cosmetology license, Barbers also considered

- Provide skilled and professional hair styling services to clients

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling

- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable hairstyles

- Opportunity to sell salon products and earn commission

- Maintain a clean and organized work station, and help in basic tidiness of salon.

- Follow salon policies and procedures for client satisfaction and safety
