Description We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Nixon, Nevada. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be instrumental in providing first-line technical support to our team. Your main duty will involve problem-solving IT issues, with a particular focus on customer service.Responsibilities: Assist in managing and troubleshooting VMWare environments. Provide support for Windows and Linux servers. Support the configuration and setup of networks. Handle Active Directory (AD) management. Offer expertise in MS Office 365 for end-user support. Address and resolve technical issues for both in-office and remote/home systems. Adapt to changing technical challenges and take on multiple roles. Ensure top-notch customer service by maintaining accurate customer records and resolving inquiries in a timely manner. Requirements Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role is necessary. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Active Directory, VMware, and MS Office 365. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are required. Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Proficiency in using help desk software and remote support tools. Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience. Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit sector. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
