Independent Contract Courier

Scheduled Route Driver

Specialized Delivery Services has an immediate opening for a professional independent contract courier in the Reno market. This route originates in Carson City in the afternoon and runs to Tonopah. Currently is a shared route running one day a week, possibly more depending on availability. Pay is $350 per day driving your own vehicle. Route should start at 3:30 p.m. and end at approximately 1:00 a.m.

Requirements:

2012 or newer economical car (AWD preferred)

23 years of age

Android or Apple Phone

Able to pass a criminal background check (no felony convictions) and pre-employment drug screen

Clean driving record

Ability to understand addresses and read a map and route yourself (not relying solely on GPS)

Excellent customer service skills (internal and external)

Previous delivery experience

Sense of critical urgency
