Laundry Mat Attendant

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Laundry Mat Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Mat Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers. Your primary duties will include helping customers with their laundry needs, maintaining a clean environment as well as the machines, and helping with transaction/ making change for customers.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assist them with using the laundry machines if needed.

- Answer questions about machine operations and laundry services.

- Ensure all machines are operational and report any maintenance issues promptly.

- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry mat, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning machines.

- Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and place orders as needed.

- Handle customer transactions and maintain accurate records of payments.

- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards at all times.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads (up to 25 pounds).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
