As a Machinist, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing operations. You will operate grinding and milling machines to cut and produce precision-manufactured parts. Your role will involve both repairing and producing parts using manual and automated equipment, ensuring precise measurements based on blueprints and technical drawings. You will work under the supervision of the Cell Supervisor/Work Leader, taking on important work assignments with integrity and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in close tolerance manufacturing, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
Possess intermediate math skills for measurement, testing, and problem resolution, showcasing our dedication to innovation and precision.
Replace cutting tools as required to meet product conformity, ensuring consistent quality in all our products.
Safely operate overhead cranes, adhering to our value of integrity in maintaining a safe work environment.
Display proficiency in the use of inspection tools such as micrometers (ID/OD/depth) calipers, pi tapes, and hand tools including layout tools, grinders, drills, wrenches, and mallets, reflecting our pride & passion in craftsmanship.
Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, work orders, and manuals, demonstrating our customer focus by understanding and meeting client specifications.
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed, adapting to the demands of innovation and excellence.
Work effectively with minimal supervision, embodying our value of integrity through self-discipline and responsibility
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Complete required inspection documentation reports, ensuring transparency and accuracy for our clients.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
