You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:Responsible for coordinating and implementing the RN Residency Program within St. Rose Dominican Hospitals. Collaborates with nursing and ancillary directors managers educators preceptors mentors debriefers/self-care facilitators and other key individuals instrumental in making the RN Residency Program successful.

Communicates successes and obstacles to Director of Education and senior nursing leadership.

Implements the Residency according to established timelines .

Utilized as primary source advisor for RN Residents to communicate and access throughout the residency program.

Possesses an understanding of how patient care units operate with respect to the roles of the preceptor educator manager/director and the new graduate nurse. Monitors and ensures documentation required for the Residency is maintained and updated timely.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

Background in nursing with previous staff development or educator experience.

Either bachelor's or Master's degree must be in Nursing

RN:NV

Superior management skills with an emphasis on interpersonal communication.

Ability to lead in a team oriented environment.

Excellent organizational skills required with the ability to manage multiple disciplines simultaneously.

Able to operate within all levels of the organization.

Ability to prioritize plan and execute.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and able to coach personnel for optimum outcomes.

Interacts with hospital and community to promote St. Rose in a positive manner.

Effectively builds relationships within and outside the organization.

Has daily contact with a variety of audiences including management/senior management physicians employees ancillary department staff.

Must be able to move about intermittently during the work day including standing lifting bending stooping twisting pushing and pulling.

Must be flexible in a very demanding environment and able to prioritize and use good judgment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as New Grad Program Administrator in an acute care hospital system
