Optometric Technician

Optic Gallery in Henderson is looking for an Optometric Technician. Experience is preferred but we will train! We are looking for an individual who is motivated, enthusiastic, people friendly, and who takes pride in their job and thrives in an organization that constantly adapts and evolves.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Pretesting patients by gathering history and chief complaints for the doctor.

- Accurately inputs data into patient records

- Answering multi-line incoming calls and assisting patients over the phone

- Help patients order their contact lens from doctor’s prescription

- Perform insertion and removal training for new contact lens wearers

- Using vision insurance to explain benefits and copays to patients
