As a Partnership Distribution Manager you will be responsible for assisting the National Director of Partnerships & Distribution in leading the strategic direction and tactical implementation of hotel room revenue sales for the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. You will develop and implement account partnerships and daily account management in order to achieve and/or exceed departmental revenue and occupancy goals for the Hotel Sales, Revenue Management and Marketing divisions.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assist the National Director of Partnerships & Distribution and Senior Leadership team in all requested job duties and/or projects and events.Responsible for the daily management of assigned channels of distribution, defined as E-commerce (OTA), Wholesale, Consortia, Corporate Transient, Travel Agent (GDS), Extended Stay and Executive Housing.Must be able to accurately assess customers business requirements, needs and expectations. This includes, but is not limited to, prospecting, contracting, and any related extranet or content management systems, as well as all sales and partnership activities in order to maximize hotel room revenues for the portfolio.Identify and solicit new and existing accounts/partnerships to increase hotel room revenue and profitability for the Resort.Assist with the negotiation of rates, promotions and room allotments in coordination with Revenue Management for accounts to drive hotel room revenue, occupancy and profitability.Actively participate in seminars, webinars, conference calls and sales presentations.Attend travel to industry tradeshows when requested, attend/present call center trainings, conduct onsite property tours and attend offsite partner meetings. Business/Company travel incurs expenses that requires expense report submission for reimbursement.Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel in and out of market with very short notice. International travel will require employee to maintain a valid US passport or other required valid documentation for traveling out/into the United States.Employee must be available to travel out of local market up to, but not limited to, 25% of the time.Knowledge and understanding of current events, market trends, competitive landscape, national and local economies, market plans, research, and customer base.Assist in generating marketing plans, promotional material, newsletters and trend market analysis reports for the properties market, as well as the accounts within those markets.Ability to navigate and analyze production reports in Excel and/or Word with intermediate to advanced skill.Collaborate with resort operations, in-house reservations, and accounting teams to ensure optimal service standards for all accounts.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively communicate and influence accounts/partnerships, including the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively.Ability to work independently with stated objectives and achieve those objectives with minimal management.Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policy and procedures to achieve the overall objective of this position.This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
