The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 96-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.SummaryThe Program Manager is a non-client-facing role, reporting to Freeman’s Vice President, Strategy & Insights and provides critical operational support to the Strategy and Insights team while also working in close collaboration with other corporate functions to ensure proactive communications on issues and new opportunities, resource gaps and financial management. In this role, the program manager supports the team by supporting selling and execution activities required to provide the Freeman enterprise with data that enables Leadership, Finance, and Operations to successfully manage and carry out their business responsibilities and make decisions based on accurate information. This role will also coordinate internal deliverables, standard operating procedures, manage team resource capacity, billability targets, and Freeman systems of record including Salesforce and Workfront for process compliance. The Strategy & Insights program manager will also support team sales activity and work across all phases of a project from pitch and RFP support and the creation of initial proposals and project budgets to utilization reporting and final revenue accrual. In some cases, responsibilities are executed independently and in others the work is completed through collaboration with others.This position will support our Growth (Sales) team and is eligible to work a remote shedule.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Proactively monitors Strategy project performance via OKRs and provides status updates to VP, Strategy and Insights; Tracks project costs to help ensure programs remain under or within budget.
Provides visibility and updates to Strategy & Insights leaders to ensure any flags are raised in a timely manner to allow for adequate problem solving.
Implements processes to maintain accurate data and information in Salesforce and Workfront.
Creates, manages and shares tracking information for all incoming, existing and pipeline Strategy opportunities
Creates initial proposals and project budgets to support selling efforts
Works with Strategy leadership to identify resources across the practice needed to plan, execute and report on engagements.
Assists in the day-to-day operations of the team including reviewing and submitting 3rd party bills for payment, and handling client invoices.
Works with Finance on month end closing of projects, final analysis and program budget reconciliations.
Coordinate the onboarding and management of external project contractors and their individual project-based SOWs, as well as manages inter-company SOWs for internal resources staffed from other Freeman teams
Develops and manages standard operating procedures across the team related to Strategy and Insights business development, project management, budget management and reporting.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college/university preferred or five (5) years of related experience required.
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications
Technical savvy and ability to understand and interpret and learn the rules, policies, procedures, or systems related to the job.
Strong project management and excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Demonstrated drive to perform and deliver results; Works effectively with others to achieve goals and looks for and takes advantage of opportunities.
