Scrum Master should be hands on and not a facilitatorShould have knowledge on what the team actually did and sat and resolved issues and was not a JIRA board adminShould be proactive and drive the program end to endShould have managed team and articulate how they set the backlog and derived the program from itShould be a communicator and not just a servant leaderShould have a fair bit of knowledge on how to work with others in an agile worldShould be able to understand end to end SDLC processEssentially the resource should know what his team did and not be out of sync, which the new world scrum masters are mostly. Min 8 years experience and prior technical experience will help.
