Description
The purpose of this role is to assist with the month end close including general ledger analyses, journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
Performs all functions in accordance with applicable GAAP, Gaming Control Board, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and company policies and procedures
Participation in all activities related to the monthly close process, including accurate & timely preparation of journal entries (supported by well-documented reconciliations), and the timely research/resolution of various business matters that have accounting implications
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis on a monthly basis
Analyzes information by developing spreadsheet reports
Assist the accounting management as needed to complete ad-hoc projects, month-end and year-end reports
Assist in coordinating internal and external audit requests
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;5+ years of accounting experience;Public accounting experience preferred, but not required;CPA preferred, but not required;Netsuite experience preferred, but not required;Intermediate-to-advanced MS excel skills required;Strong understanding and knowledge of GAAPMonth-end close experience required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
