DSA is looking to hire a results-oriented Software Developer who can work remotely and independently. The customer is the State of Nevada's Department of Education. This is a new contract award for DSA. This position is 100% remote and is virtual. This will require the ability to work a 40 work week and is a Full-time position. The selected candidate will be a full-time employee with DSA and will receive our Full-Time Medical Benefit package and includes our 401K and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.The selected candidate must complete a background check that includes a 7 year criminal history, social security trace and sex offender registry search.The DSA Software Developer will work with a cross-functional team to create high quality code deliverables for one or more services in a digital record management system. Duties include but are not limited to: Writing clean, solid code that scales and performs well. Participating in coordinated planning sessions, provides effort estimates and timeline commitments. Refining and grooming the product backlog and user stories. Performing in Agile/SCRUM development cycle to deliver.Required skills include US citizenship and: .NET core API development practice and ability to understand API requirements and be able to design APIs Ability to create specifications, design documents, create JSON Structures, familiarity with SWAGGER, and JSON schemas Hands on development experience in RESTful services in a microservices architecture 3+ years' experience with REST/JSON APIs 3+ years' experience in C# and .NET core development language 3+ years' experience with PostgreSQL 3+ years' experience with Postman 3+ years' experience with Visual Studio Code or Visual Studio Familiarity with creating C# API unit test cases for code coverage Strong understanding of data structures and integration patterns Knowledge of Docker and containerizing .Net Core web APIsEducational Requirement: BS Degree in a technology related area of study.COVID-19 continues to significantly impact our communities, families and employees.
