Software Project Manager

Title: Software Project Manager Location: Las Vegas, NV (Initially Remote) Term : Long Term contract Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the management and coordination of companywide multi-department software technology projects from managing the full range of activities from writing business requirements to tracking all phases of the SDLC. Gather, formalize, and document business requirements, as well as project scoping, prioritization, estimation, planning and scheduling, resource allocation, etc. Convene and conduct all project-related meetings, including initial assessment and review, scoping/estimation, prioritization, planning and scheduling, etc. Coordinate and schedule projects among product teams and assist in assignments and coordination of work with project leads. Maintain list of all software projects (active, proposed, etc.) and disseminate status and progress reports. Review/revise existing and establish new project management practices. Encourage adoption through training and mentoring. Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. 4+ years managing software projects. 2+ years collecting business requirements and analysis. PMP certification or equivalent PMO experience (preferred). Experience with leading co-located and remote teams using agile practices (preferred). Organized and detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Dynamic communicator with superlative inter-personal skills.
