Works with RN Supervisor to coordinate patient flow within the Cardiology Clinic, and assumes other clinic responsibilities as directed by supervisor
Proficient in all areas of testing for a Cardiology Technician
Effectively communicates EKG abnormalities and/or negative testing outcomes to the Cardiology team physicians and RN’s
Maintains compliance with job specific proficient requirements
Ensures all completed readings are sent to medical records, and at the direction of the Cardiology Team Physician all abnormal readings are sent directly back to the referring Physician
Acts as a resource and provides guidance to other Cardiology Technicians and support staff

High school education or equivalent experience
Active/current Basic Life Support
