Responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the functions and personnel of the warehouse to ensure superior customer satisfaction, positive team member morale, a safe work environment, and strong progress towards business goals.Responsibilities Support programs that foster Associates' safety through meeting OHSA, EPA regulations, and safety goals           Maintain a continuous flow of orders in shipping and receiving by managing Associates’ activities through the EWM systemEnforce the Las Vegas Distribution Center personnel policies, procedures, and programs fairly and consistentlyEnsure efficient order closeoutsEnsure proper daily hand off between shiftsDirect receiving, put away, picking and re-warehousing activitiesEnsure compliance with special customer shipping instructionsEnsure proper order staging of outbound shipments and completion of all documentationEnsure proper training of Associates to perform their duties in accordance with established procedures    Provide oral and written communications such as reports, corrective action, monthly update charts and graphsPlan and execute process improvementsManage distribution operations, including customer shipments, space requirements, inventory management, and facility expenses and staffing levels to ensure compliance with operational budget and alignment with operational levels Interface with Customer Service, Transportation, Manufacturing Plants, and customers to challenge the status quoWork with the Trainers to ensure proper/timely training of Associates on procedures to perform their job and use equipment properly as well as understand policies and enforce safety and warehouse objectives. Coach and/or administer corrective action when violations occurWork with team leads to plan, develop and refine programs to utilize the Inventory Management System and Carton sorting/labeling systems to the maximum capacityDirect the maintenance of good housekeeping procedures, safe storage of product in all areas of the warehouse and maintenance of all material handling equipmentAssess and conduct employee performance reviews to maximize Associates’ potentialPerform other duties as assigned by the manager
