Job DescriptionTitle: Full-time Support SpecialistLocation: Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, On-siteEmployment Type: 6-8mo contract (No C2C or Sponsorship Available)Job DescriptionEdgelink is looking for Support Specialists to join a casino-entertainment and hospitality services company. Successful candidates will address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking, walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals, ask targeted questions to diagnose problems and direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.From a candidate perspective, we are targeting experience with most or all of the following:-CompTIA’s A+, Network+, and Security+ certification (preferred, but not required)-1+ years' experience with ServiceNow (preferred, but not required)-1-2+ years' experience in a desktop support role-Providing one-on-one end user training on basic workstations and peripheral device usage-Troubleshooting problems related to network printer, PC hardware, iSeries, email, internet, vpn and local area network access-Accountable for personal/technical development; finds innovative ways to continually improve skills-Ability to work 100% on-site-Ability to obtain Gaming CardMinimum Qualifications−High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred−1+ years' computer operations experience in an iSeries and/or Windows server environment.
